However, not every computer is compatible with this new operating system and can only be installed if it meets specific requirements.

Windows 11 system requirements
To upgrade to Windows 11, your PC will need a processor with two or more cores and a clock speed of 1GHz or higher.
It also needs RAM with 4GB or more capacity and at least 64GB storage space on the hard drive.
The machine must have an updated TPM security version (TPM 1.2) and SecureBootCapable support to receive the new operating system update from Microsoft in 2020.
Processors made by AMD’s A-series line of processors and their FX series are not eligible for upgrades.
While devices using Intel’s sixth-generation Core Processors won’t be able either due to technical limitations present within these models’ architecture design, which does not allow them access into running this.

If you’re in the Windows Insider Program, then this is for you. To make it through to the first release of Windows 11 and be able to download a new OS from scratch or after an update without any problems when they roll out sometime later this year.
Run your computer’s health checks ASAP as some devices might not pass them, which means that there will still be time before the rollout begins. These computers can get ready with updates to be fully compatible once Microsoft starts rolling out their latest operating system.

- Download the PC Health Check app on your PC.
- Now Double-click the WindowsPCHealthCheckSetup.msi file.
- Checkmark on the “I accept the terms in the License Agreement” option.

- Wait until the software gets installed on your PC.
- Click on Finish, now the PC Health Check app will open up.
- Under Introducing Windows 11 section, click on Check now button.
