That means now you can enjoy calling using your phone’s main balance. No balance deduction VoWifi uses data for calling. So, this article is all about how you can enable this feature.
What is VoWifi or Wi-Fi Calling?
We have been there you go to make the call or send a text and you have got no signal you could be on tube out and about or in the corner of the office where your phone always cut out its frustrating right?
Well here it comes the VoWifi Calling, you can call in the text using your Wifi. That makes the calling experience very smooth and you get a good strong signal with less attenuation.

Steps To Enable VoWifi Calling On Any Android Phone
- Go to your phone “Settings”.
- Now under settings tap on “Network & Internet”.
- Tap on “SIM cards”.
- Now under the sim card setting, you will find the option “Make calls using WLAN”, simply enable this option.
- That’s it 🙂 We have successfully Enabled VoWifi Calling.
Once you enable this option, under the network icon you will see a new icon for VoWifi Calling.
Note: Currently VoWifi features will only work with Airtel. That means if you have Airtel wifi then you can easily use this feature. I have personally tried it on my Jio Wifi but it’s not at all working.
If this option is not visible on your phone, that means currently your phone does not support VoWifi Calling. But don’t worry you will get this option soon.
As you know when Reliance Jio was launched they are offering VOLTE service. Which is similar to VoWifi Calling. So, you know that time many devices do not have the option for VOLTE.
But in the few days, all devices have got the VOLTE feature via software updates or through security patch update. So, don’t worry you will get this feature in the upcoming days.
